Who is eligible?

Sweetwater Union High School District offers Independent Study options for students in grades 7-12 who are:

• Having social or academic difficulty in a comprehensive school setting
• Credit deficient and/or having attendance problems
• Enrolling from other school districts mid-semester and in need of time to “catch-up”
• Moving from school to school due to economic or family circumstances
• Approaching or in their fourth year of high school with no hope of graduating from high school “on time”
